You: The Brand

Do you think of yourself as a brand?  You should!  How others perceive you both internally at your organization and externally to the industry-at-large – plays a pivotal role in your career.  And that’s true for any professional, no matter where you are in your career or whether you’re in the market for a new job.

During PCMA’s Convening Leaders event in January, Dawn Penfold, CMP, and I (Lesley Kyle, CMP) will be delivering a presentation titled, “Me:  The Brand,” on January 14.  Dawn and I have had great fun preparing for and collaborating on this presentation.  We’ll address a variety of topics including options for elevating your personal brand internally and externally; developing your own elevator pitch; and how you can harness the power of social media to promote your personal brand.

If you’re attending Convening Leaders in Orlando next month, I hope you’ll join us for an interactive presentation.  You’ll leave the presentation with ideas and tools you can begin to implement immediately.  Discover how to develop your own personal brand and how to put it to work for you.  Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Recognizing the importance of personal branding for career advancement.
  • Discovering what goes into developing your own personal brand.
  • Exploring how to market your brand and how to balance personal and professional aspects.

See you in Orlando!
